“Celebrating success is also important-most people don’t mind working hard but they also like to feel appreciated. Having structured feedback on performance also ensures that staff understand the strategic objectives of the school/business and how they can contribute towards achieving them. It is amazing how many talented people get overlooked due to a lack of self-confidence and colleagues consequently failing to recognise what they can offer. It is wonderful when you see individuals and organisations energised and empowered because that is the moment at which you know almost anything is achievable.
Schools are highly complex organisations but each shares a common purpose, they wish to deliver high quality education that caters for the needs of individual children and they wish to do so in a nurturing manner, allowing young people to feel empowered so as to achieve their aspirations. Sometimes however by providing external strategic input, it is easier to identify the means by which staff and pupils can achieve their full potential.
Many of our experienced leaders have also led highly successful schools themselves and some ar still doing so, hence the are sensitive to the intricate demands and expectations placed on Headteachers, senior leaders and other teaching staff. They recognise the value of strategic thinking and how important it is to have created the correct learning environment to impact on pupils learning experience.
They also acknowledge that this is something which needs to be embedded into the fabric of the school and sometimes requires new eyes to provide rejuvenation, as well as to recognise what is already exemplary. Our leaders specialise in Early Years, Primary; Secondary; All Through; Single sex girls and boys ; Coeducational; all ability; mixed ability; selective and special needs. They have led in both the state and independent sectors and most importantly, they genuinely care about children.
