Nick Rees was appraoched by The Constable Trust (The Moat School) for one day a month for an initial 8 month contract extend to 12 months.
For mentoring/providing advice and support for the newly appointed head. Observing and providing feedback to all teaching staff and to the SMT on all of the staff. Suggesting to staff ways of improving their teaching and portion of the pupils learning. Evaluating school development plan and other policies and documentation e.g. appraisal. Suggestions on ways to market the school e.g. new smarter school uniform, fabric of the building and developing ideas for further discussion regarding future developments.
The Outcomes – Streamlined and consistent documentation. Staff feeling supported with positive suggestions to develop their teaching strategies and ways to improve their working environment.
